Sunday morning fashion fun

For years now I have been obsessed with all things beauty and fashion related. I will spend hours looking at photos on Pinterest and even got into the industry because of my love for it. It's what I am passionate about. So when an old friend of mine contacted me last week about doing a high fashion collaboration photo shoot, I was thrilled! Allie Beckwith is an amazingly talented young photographer who wanted to have some fun and create some high fashion photographs. I am beyond happy with how everything turned out. It was alot of fun and I cannot wait until we can do it again!
Here is Allie's photography blog with a list of all of the photos - http://alliebeckwith.blogspot.ca/
I would also like to thank Donna from Off The Top for allowing us to use the salon outside of my work week. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Off-The-Top-Hair-Team/208735842483116?fref=ts

Skulls and boots

I had a strange urge this morning....to recreate the Lady Gaga skull makeup look that she wore in her Born This Way video. I am not the first person to do this, but I thought why not and did it for fun. I used the exact same process as I use when I draw with charcoal. I used black eye shadow, black kohl eyeliner and white eyeliner. Just in time for Halloween! BOO!

On a strange, slightly OCD sidenote...if you are like me and are slightly obsessed with organization then this is a great tip for you! I love boots, any boots but what I don't like is when you are trying to store them in your closet and the tall ones keep folding over and slouching. (You'd think I would have better things to think about lol) Soo, I found this idea on pinterest and decided to give it a try. Cut pool noodles into fourths and stick a piece in each boot...crisis averted! Works like a charm. Taking organization to another level? Maybe. But it works :) XO
