Current loves in fashion

Fashion...ahhhh I love it so. But there are some trends that I have been loving more than others, so I thought I would share some of them..

I have been loving this color blocking trend lately. Basicly it is when you pair seemingly unexpected vibrant colors together in one outfit, creating a bold yet chic look. I think this is a perfect trend for spring and summer because of the beautiful colors being used. One way you can achieve this look at home is by wearing a canary yellow top with cobalt blue nails. A bolder way to be on trend is try wearing a tangerine top with a pair of white jeans and yellow or hot pink sandals. Experiment and do not be afraid of adding some color to your wardrobe!

On the same token, I also have been loving nudes. I love anything from nude clothing to nude accessories to nude nails. SJP makes this simple yet chic nude coat look amazing by keeping her accessories to a minimum. You can also look for metallic nude accessories that add a touch of something to your outfit without taking away from it. I also love tourquoise, always have, and love the combo of nude and tourquoise together for summer. How you can achieve this look at home is, try painting your nails a soft nude color. You could also take a note from SJP and rock a nude jacket, like a trech coat, or a nude top with jeans and black boots.

Demin. Jeans. Love. I am a total jean girl. I dont think there is much else that looks better on a woman than a perfectly fitted pair of jeans. They are easy, comfortable and go with anything! You can dress them up or down and come in so many styles. I love skinny, straight, highrise, wide leg, distressed, light, med and dark denim. But my absolute favorite style is simple bootcut, nothing beats it! Try dressing up your denim look with a simple black top, great pair of jeans, pumps and then let your accessories do the talking.

Fun statement shoes....need I say more?
I have been loving booties for a long while and find that they add alot to your outfit. I look how SJP added these simple grey booties to a dress for a unique combo.

Black. Its simple, to the point and couldnt be more sexy. You can do a black on black look like Rosie for a streamlined lean silhouette or use seperates of the color. I also have been loving black accessories, like Jennifers masculine watch. Its soo easy and because it is, it has am effortlessness about it which is my favorite type of look. Try wearing black in your own life but by choosing different textures. A black soft leather moto style jacket, black snakeskin shoes, black cashmere sweater or a quick sweep of black liquid liner on your eyes adds interest to a black outfit. XO

My FAVORITE face cleanser

I used to be a product junkie. I loved to try new products and see if they would work out as well as they promised but lately I have been wanting a simplier beauty regime. I started researching what works the best as a facial cleanser, regardless of brand name or price, and kept hearing one word. Dove. Dove beauty bar (looks like a bar of soap) is an amazing product. I use it with warm water and massage it into my face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. It not only removes any build up of toxins, dead cells, and pollution from my skin but it even removes every bit of my makeup. A lot of soaps tend to make the skin feel tight and dry, this does not because of all the moisturizing agents it contains. There are a few different beauty bars to choose from but my favorite is the Dove beauty bar for sensitive skin, even though I do not have sensitive skin. It's truly amazing and I love the simplicity of the product. Plus, it's at a fantastic price point. I have tried Clinique, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Biore, Mary Kay...to name a few cleansers and by far my favorite is the Dove beauty bar. I noticed a difference the very first time I used it. I love it when that happens...XO

Some of my fav pics of the week

Only good memories can come of that!
I love different/unique photos of people.
Love her whole look going on here
 Ohhh yeaaaa... :)
 This is absolutely 100% true!!
 Amen.
Live by these rules as guidelines and your life will be happier!
 LOL
One of my favorite quotes. Puts happiness into perspective for me by showing me that we have sooo many seemingly little/insignificant things to be happy and grateful for.
Are you one of those girls? I was...trying my best to change that and getting much better at thinking otherwise.
Have an amazing weekend full of rest, laughter and enjoying the moment! XO

How to make almost any scarf look like an infiniti scarf..

How many of you LOVE the infiniti scarf? I know I do! I love the idea of a scarf in general but never really find myself wearing them. Until I became aware of the infiniti scarf trend. I have a ton of scarves that I really like but never wear so here is a good trick that has made me wear most of my scarves already! Its creating almost any scarf into an infiniti so you can get more wear out of your other scarves with achieving the infiniti look!
Step one: Fold any scarf in half, matching up the two corners.
Step two: Tie both corners in a knot.
Like so. And that is all! Now you have an infiniti - esque scarf!
 Regular scarf before..

Infiniti look after! Xo

Eye look of the day (ELOTD) & Inspirations

This is my eye look today using the color tattoo product I love soo much. So easy to work with and gives just enough definition for the workplace. So happy I tried this product!! I throughly enjoy taking some time out of my day to apply a touch of makeup to my face. It makes me walk with a little pep in my step and is worth the effort. It amazing what a little concealer and mascara can do! And here are some of my inspirations from this past week. Hope you enjoy! Xo
This picture reminds me of summer and of how badly I want it to be here.
Hopefully sometime soon I can make this a reality.
Yoga is one of my top favorite forms of exercise. Ahhhhh...peace.
 Love this!
Again with the yoga and beautiful place.
Amen!
