My inspirations of the week

I went to see The Vow last week for a variety of reasons. First off I may have a slight crush, or should I say love for Channing Tatum...no need to explain. Second, I love the fact that Rachel McAdams is such an amazing Canadian actress! And three, I'm a sucker for a good love story and this one didn't disapoint. Soo sad.
I have found this to be true. When you surround yourself you uplift and support you it does wonders for youe self esteem and in turn your ability to accomplish what you want from your life.
With summer on its way, I am going back to the gym to be ready for the dreaded swimsuit season. This is inspiration and motivation to get my butt in gear.
Jennifer Aniston is one of my beauty/fashion inspirations because of her ability to make even the simplist outfits chic and sexy. the look she gives off is one of effortless beauty which inspires me alot.
Just threw this in for good measure..
Even though I think that Megan Fox was sooo much more beautiful before she went and had plastic surgery, I have to admit that I love her makeup in this pic. Bronzed luminious skin, lightly lined gold eye that looks great with her blue eyes, and a neutral rosy pink lip is an awesome combination.
Whenever I have a slight panic attack over something silly or get angry over what is really nothing, I actually ask myself this question. And if the answer is no, is really makes me feel better about the situation I am in and puts things into perspective for me.
We are in the midst of a cold February and whenever I am cold all I want to do is get cozy and warm. A knit infiniti scarf and/or a knit over sized sweater is the perfect antidote to chilly days.
I have always loved the 60's era, so anything to do with freespirtness or hippies is awesome in my book.
Miranda Kerr..so beautiful. I particularly love the makeup in this picture and her center part.
Again, Jennifer has effortless style that is easy to recreate in everyday life.
 I.die. Droolllll.
I absolutely believe this! Soooo true.
Burberry scarf, black leather jacket and Blake Lively. Can't think of a better combination.
Jennifer was in March's issue of InStyle, one of my fav style megazines on the market. This was one of my fav photos from the spread because of the soft smokey eye. Love it.
This is how I live my life :) Xo

A drugstore treasure..

My passion in life is fashion and beauty related activities so when I discovered the community of women on YouTube who do makeup videos, I was hooked. While I was watching them I kept hearing this particular product being mentioned over and over again. That product is the Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eyestudio. This product truly is amazing! I went to Walmart ($9.49 at Shoppers and $6.79 at Walmart. I purchase all my drugstore items there.) and purchased the three colors in the picture. They are long wearing and extreamly pigmented. They look great worn alone or with shades over top of them. I will be going back for more! The shade I have on as a base in the photo is #25 Bad to the Bronze.  Xo

My makeup staple

One of the most important makeup products I use on a daily basis in an eyelid primer. Why the eyelid primer is so important in my makeup regime is because using it will eliminate eye shadow creasing and increase eye shadow longevity. So over the years I have tried many different eyelid primers from L'Oreal to TIGI and have discovered the most amazing product that I will never go with out. It is the Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion. I first tried this product when I purchased it from Sephora in NYC in '09 and to this day I have never been without. I just ran out of my stock of Primer Potion so I purchased it from Sephora.com and it arrived today with other goodies. Primer Potion comes in a variety of shades but my favorite is Sin. Sin is a slightly shimmery champagne color that goes with any eye look. All the hype about the Primer Potion is tried and true in my opinion and I am sooo happy I tried it! So if you are ever in the market for a high end eye lid primer, then you will not be disapointed. Xo
