Why I LOVE Winners..

I love Winners. I really do. It's like a treasure hunt and you never know what you are going to find. My favorite thing about Winners is that you can get beautiful quality designer items for a fraction of the price. I have purchased Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, BCBG, Silver Denim, and Michael Kors to name a few. And all of it was at amazing prices! I went into Winners this past week and found a wonderful deal. Miss Me denim is big in the states and I have not seen it in Canada, or atleast Saint John, until now. I found my new favorite pair of jeans! They are long, medium wash and bootcut with ornate pocket detailing. And the best part is, is that I got them for $39 and change! They were originally $151.00 (had the original tags still on). Oh...I love winners. You should go! :) XO

Girls night out makeup look

Here is a look I did this evening using my new Clinique high impact mascara, Clinique line filling concealer and using my Clinique cream liner in black. I did a neautal wam lid with a black cat eye with 2 coats of the mascara. It was the first time I used the concealer and I love it so far! I kept the rest of my face warm and my lips neutral using a Gosh lip gloss.
Please excuse my hair and outfit...only got as far as the makeup at that time. :) XO

I love me some free beauty products

I am very excited to announce that the Clinique gift with purchase is on! For those of you who don't know what a gift with purchase is, it's when a company gives you a free gift when you spend $26.50 (before taxes). I really enjoy it when companies like Clinique and Lancome put on a gift with purchase because it helps me justify spending a higher price on makeup that I do not actually need. So when I found out it was on, I decided to stock up on some essientials. Clinique High Impact mascara in black is an amazing mascara that adds volume and makes your lashes look incredibly black..just what I like! Its a great option for a higher end mascara. I bought my first tube of it when I was 16 and have enjoyed it ever since (will be posting pics of how it looks on eyes later..) I also purchased the Clinique Line Smoothing concealer in light for my dreaded undereye circles. I have yet to try this product but we'll see how it goes. So for $40.39, I got all of these products...not too bad! Says the girl who doesn't really need a thing in the first place ;) XO

Pics Im loving ATM...

 I am loving the mirrored lens Ray Ban aviators lately and will be picking a pair up asap! They are such an easy way to jazz up a casual outfit by adding a bit of an edge. And Ray Ban are some of my top favorite sunglasses. I have a pair already and they are worth every penny.

 I love scarves and casual outfits that look effortless but pulled together. This is a combo of the two. Love oversized watches as well and am in the market or a gold/nude one.

 Ahh summer. The season for beaches, hot sun and shorts. I love white shorts and really like the look of them with a dark brown belt.

 Again with scarves and casual outfits...

 She is a fashion queen! I adore her.

 This look is sooo easy to pull off and looks great at the same time. Can't go wrong with black on black.

 Boots and shorts..this look is again effortless and if you do not have a pair of rugged, motorcycle or harness boots already then I reccomend them! They are comfy and add an edge to an otherwise typical outfit.

Black Honey

I love a good winged eyeliner look. It elongates the natural shape of the eye and adds a touch of drama to an everyday look. I choose to use this technique to help add the cat eye effect to my eye shape. My favorite product to use for an every day winged liner look is the Clinique cream eye liner in black honey. I use this product almost everyday because of the subtle color and it thickens the lashline. To apply this product I simply use an angled brush and make a straight line upwards in the same direction as my lower lashline aimed to the end of my eyebrow. As I mentioned this is an option for a more neutral everyday look and later on I'll post my evening look using the Clinique cream liner in black and making the line more noticeable.
