Current loves in fashion

Fashion...ahhhh I love it so. But there are some trends that I have been loving more than others, so I thought I would share some of them..

I have been loving this color blocking trend lately. Basicly it is when you pair seemingly unexpected vibrant colors together in one outfit, creating a bold yet chic look. I think this is a perfect trend for spring and summer because of the beautiful colors being used. One way you can achieve this look at home is by wearing a canary yellow top with cobalt blue nails. A bolder way to be on trend is try wearing a tangerine top with a pair of white jeans and yellow or hot pink sandals. Experiment and do not be afraid of adding some color to your wardrobe!

On the same token, I also have been loving nudes. I love anything from nude clothing to nude accessories to nude nails. SJP makes this simple yet chic nude coat look amazing by keeping her accessories to a minimum. You can also look for metallic nude accessories that add a touch of something to your outfit without taking away from it. I also love tourquoise, always have, and love the combo of nude and tourquoise together for summer. How you can achieve this look at home is, try painting your nails a soft nude color. You could also take a note from SJP and rock a nude jacket, like a trech coat, or a nude top with jeans and black boots.

Demin. Jeans. Love. I am a total jean girl. I dont think there is much else that looks better on a woman than a perfectly fitted pair of jeans. They are easy, comfortable and go with anything! You can dress them up or down and come in so many styles. I love skinny, straight, highrise, wide leg, distressed, light, med and dark denim. But my absolute favorite style is simple bootcut, nothing beats it! Try dressing up your denim look with a simple black top, great pair of jeans, pumps and then let your accessories do the talking.

Fun statement shoes....need I say more?
I have been loving booties for a long while and find that they add alot to your outfit. I look how SJP added these simple grey booties to a dress for a unique combo.

Black. Its simple, to the point and couldnt be more sexy. You can do a black on black look like Rosie for a streamlined lean silhouette or use seperates of the color. I also have been loving black accessories, like Jennifers masculine watch. Its soo easy and because it is, it has am effortlessness about it which is my favorite type of look. Try wearing black in your own life but by choosing different textures. A black soft leather moto style jacket, black snakeskin shoes, black cashmere sweater or a quick sweep of black liquid liner on your eyes adds interest to a black outfit. XO
